This traditional Sicilian preparation is used to flavour sauces and meat and fish dishes. It has excellent nutritional properties, and given the high concentration of lycopene it is certainly good for your health. We at Casa Morana insist on using the old traditional recipe, we do not use ovens or automatic technologies, in fact the drying of the tomatoes takes place naturally in direct exposure to the warm sunlight. All this allows us to maintain and evoke the true traditional flavour.
