Our doors are always open, ready to welcome you to one of our gastronomic routes in Sicily. Come and visit us to learn about our history, our fields, our processing methods, our passion. We will show you step by step how our preserves are made, starting with the sustainable cultivation of tomatoes. We will take you on a tour of discovery of Casa Morana through the tasting of typical Sicilian products: pâtés, sauces, capuliato and other preserves, to be combined with local products, to help you discover the most authentic flavours of the Sicilian culinary tradition.
A walk around the Casa Morana premises, among the aromas and flavours of the island’s tradition. You will learn every detail about Sicilian tomatoes, sustainable agriculture, and tomato processing and transformation, thanks to the guidance of our Giuseppe Morana, owner of the company, with decades of experience in the field.
Finally, we will taste Casa Morana’s tomato products.

Finally, we will taste Casa Morana’s tomato products and other typical specialities from the Ragusa region.

Description of the itinerary:
A real experience that will take place between the fields and the kitchen.
The morning will be spent amidst the typical fragrances and flavours of our Sicily, followed step by step by our own Giuseppe Morana, owner of the company.
Then, we will discover the typical Sicilian cuisine through the explanation of its processes and the creation of some specialities. We will cook together home-made pasta, tomato sauce and also prepare tomato capuliato.
On request, it is possible to prepare Ragusa focaccia, pizza or sauce.
The experience includes a visit to the company and a tasting of Casa Morana products.
We offer the possibility of modifying the content of the experience and the products according to request. In this case the cost per person is to be agreed in advance. The number of participants must be confirmed 48 hours before the date chosen for the event. In the event of bad weather, the first collection phase will be carried out by our operators. Except for the introduction phase, the rest of the experience will remain unaffected.

– Harvest selection, washing and first cooking phase
– Home-made pasta (the tools and methods of kneading, patterns, techniques)
– Tomato puree and sauce cooking
– Processing of tomato into dry tomato and Capuliato, overview of other tomato-based condiments and presentation of Casa Morana products
– Potting tomato sauce and cooking pasta
– Convivial lunch with the products prepared during the experience.
